Exactly one year ago, on the twenty-third of July, I lost my best friend in all of existence to a bad case of pneumonia. A few weeks ago, I began working on this track, remaking the first track I ever released as a remembrance of him. He was like an older brother to me, and was always there to stop me from doing stupid things.
I did not suffer the most heartbreak, however, as he had a wife who he had only been married to for about two weeks. The amount of pain and suffering that she has went through is something I wish I could take the burden of, because she did not deserve any of it.
This track is free, because I feel that profiting off of the death of a loved one is immoral.
Rest in peace, Sumner. You will be remembered as an absolute legend, and the best friend a man could ever have, bro. Thank you for everything while you were still here.
